Prof. Dr. Xiaoming Zhao Email: xmzhao08@tongji.edu.cn Xiao-Ming obtained his Ph.D. from Dalian University of Technology in 1995. Then, he did postdoctoral research at the University of Florida (UF) and University of Southern California (USC) in the group of Prof G.K.Prakash and Prof G.A.Olah. He is currently a professor at Tongji University in Shanghai. His research group’s interests were recognized by the award of a Thieme Chemistry Journal Award in 2012 and focus on reaction design, asymmetric synthesis and fluorine chemistry. Email: zhengsc@tongji.edu.cn Sheng-Cai was born in Qianshan Anhui province, China in 1985. He received his Ph.D. degree from Tongji University under the guidance of Professor Xiaoming Zhao in 2013. Afterward, he carried out postdoctoral research at the Southern University of Science and Technology of China in Tan’s group. He did another postdoctoral research with Professor Zhu at EPFL, Switzerland. His research interests focus on reaction design for the asymmetric synthesis of novel axially chiral compounds and the application of these compounds as chiral ligands and catalysts. Jun-chao was born in Zhangshu Jiangxi province, China in 1996. He received his master degree in organic chemistry from Jiangxi Normal University in 2020 and got a National scholarship for Postgraduates during this period. Now, he is studying for a PhD in Zhao Xiaoming's research group, Tongji University. He usually likes to play basketball and listen to music. His current research direction is asymmetric catalysis and synthesis.

Qiangqiang was born in Bengbu Anhui province, China in 1990. He received a bachelor's degree from Jiangsu Ocean University in 2013 and a master's degree from Donghua University in 2016. From work and study, he gained knowledge about silk fibroin biomaterials, graphene oxide, and phenolic resin. He enters Zhao Xiaoming's research group for an on-the-job Ph.D. in 2021.

Shanshan was born in Hengyang Hunan province, China in 1994. She received her MS degree from Xiangtan University in 2020. Afterward, she worked at Tsinghua University as a research associate in the Liu's group. She joined Zheng’s group as a research associate in Jun. 2021 and turned to a Ph.D. candidate in Mar. 2022.

Xiangle Jin

Xiangle was born in Yuncheng, Shanxi province, China in 1984. He received his bachelor's degree in chemistry from Shanxi University in 2007, and a master's degree in organic chemistry from Tongji University in 2010. After Graduation, He worked in Boehringer-Ingelheim as a process chemist for 8 years. And now, he is working in HUA medicine as a senior process manager in the CMC department, taking responsibility for API supply for Pre-clinical and clinical research. He has a rich experiment on API process R&D and manufacture. He enters Zhao Xiaoming's research group for an on-the-job Ph.D. in 2022.
